NOBO Bookmark Manager · Last updated October 5, 2026

Nobo saves the pages you choose to your own Notion database, and nothing else. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track your browsing.

This policy explains what the Nobo Bookmark Manager Chrome extension ("Nobo") and its website handle, and why. Nobo is developed by Ram Dharumaperumal ("we", "us"). By using Nobo, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Nobo handles only what it needs to save your bookmarks:

DataWhyWhere it's kept
Notion access and refresh tokensTo save bookmarks to Notion on your behalfYour browser (chrome.storage.local)
Notion workspace name and ID, and the ID of your bookmarks databaseTo know where to saveYour browser
Title and URL of a page you saveThis is the bookmark itselfYour Notion database
Your Nobo settingsTo remember your preferencesYour browser

Nobo reads a page's title and URL only when you click save. It does not collect your browsing history, page contents, passwords, form data, location, or analytics, and it does not use cookies or trackers.

How we use information

We use this information for one purpose: saving bookmarks you choose to your Notion database and showing them back to you in Nobo. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or training AI models, and we do not combine it with data from other sources.

Where your data is stored

Your bookmarks live in your own Notion workspace, not on our servers. Notion's privacy policy governs that data.

Your Notion tokens and settings are stored locally in your browser. They are not synced to other devices.

Nobo uses a small server only to complete Notion sign-in and to refresh or revoke your Notion tokens, because those steps require Nobo's private Notion credentials. Your tokens pass through this server during those requests, but it does not store them, your bookmarks, or any logs that contain them.

Sharing

Nobo sends your data only to Notion, and only to save or read your bookmarks. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share it with no one else unless the law requires it.

Nobo's use of your data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use your data only to provide Nobo's single purpose. We do not transfer it for advertising or to data brokers, and we do not use it to judge creditworthiness. No person reads your bookmarks unless you ask us to help with a problem or the law requires it.

Browser permissions

PermissionWhy Nobo needs it
activeTabTo read the title and URL of the tab you're on, only when you click save
storageTo keep your Notion tokens and settings in your browser
identityTo open Notion's sign-in window and return you to Nobo
Access to api.notion.comTo save and read bookmarks in your Notion database

Security

All connections to Notion and to our server use HTTPS. Your tokens are stored where only the Nobo extension can read them, not web pages or other extensions. Nobo requests only the Notion access it needs, and you choose which pages Nobo can see when you connect it. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Keeping and deleting your data

You stay in control of your data:

  • Disconnect in Nobo: revokes Nobo's access to Notion and deletes your tokens and settings from your browser.
  • Uninstall Nobo: deletes everything Nobo stored in your browser. To also remove Nobo's access, disconnect it in Notion under Settings → Connections.
  • Your bookmarks: stay in your Notion database until you delete them there. Disconnecting or uninstalling Nobo does not delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We don't hold your bookmarks or tokens, so you can do most of this yourself in Notion and in your browser. For anything else, contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This product is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is used, we'll tell you in the extension before it takes effect.
